Letter: Unaffordable I-5 tolls?

Coming soon to the Interstate 5 Bridge: $23 rush-hour toll?

It was recently announced that congestion tolling, higher price tolls during high traffic times, may be implemented in New York City for some vehicles at $23.

Nearly everyone has suggested that there will be I-5 Bridge tolls, and congestion tolling has been suggested to reduce traffic and increase revenue. Congestion tolling of the I-5 Bridge is simply something our community can’t afford, now or ever.
