Salvation Army Vancouver Corps needs volunteers to help it meet holiday goals

Lyle Coblentz remembers the Christmas his mother told him and his siblings that the family could not afford gifts. But on Christmas morning, they woke up to presents — The Salvation Army had heard about the family and made sure they had gifts and food to celebrate.

“They gave us a Christmas that I never forgot,” Coblentz said.
