Letter: Remember, program is for children

It used to be that some things were considered adult entertainment. Among other things, drag queen shows, pole dancing, strippers, and baristas in thongs.

Nowadays if you want to buy a cup of coffee, you can go to places that serve coffee by women who barely have anything on. It’s legal and it is public. You can go to a public beach and see immodesty everywhere, but now it’s considered the new look.

I don’t think our children should be read to by drag queens, nor bare women or men in thongs and skinny bikinis, nor people in satanic attire. This isn’t a sex education class, nor is it adult entertainment. It’s storytime for children. Please keep in mind that the program is for children.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
