The Greater Vancouver Chamber announced recently it has created a new business assistance program, Business POD (Pathways to Opportunity and Development).

The program aims to provide small businesses, entrepreneurs and microenterprises professional and individual guidance in areas to start, develop and grow their business. The program is sponsored by Vancouver Mall and a partnership with the city of Vancouver, which is funding the program.

Participants will meet twice monthly for free virtual workshops with topics including business plans; legal requirements; operations management; marketing; sales; customer engagement; diversity, equity and inclusion; wage; and safety.

Business owners will receive ongoing one-on-one counseling with experts, as well. And, the program will facilitate a six-meeting series of cohort mentoring sessions to connect entrepreneurs with business owners who are facing similar challenges.

The Greater Vancouver Chamber is encouraging small business owners to sign up now for this program at yourchamber.typeform.com/PODForm.
