Ashley Schow scored 22 points as Tenino jumped out early and a cold-shooting Seton Catholic team could not catch up, falling to the Beavers 46-24 in a 1A district first-round game in Tenino.

Tenino jumped out to a 9-0 lead and took a 26-9 advantage into halftime.

“I thought we played better in the second half,” Seton coach Joe Potter said. “To hold them to 46 points is pretty good. We just couldn’t hit a shot tonight.”

Maddie Willis scored nine points to lead Seton Catholic (9-11), which will host Elma (3-12) in a loser-out game on Tuesday
