Ella Zimmerman gives King’s Way Christian girls an early spark in win over Eatonville

Ella Zimmerman gave King’s Way Christian and early spark and Laurel Quinn helped finish off a 44-35 win over Eatonville in the 1A district girls basketball first round Friday.

Zimmerman scored eight of her 13 points in the first quarter as King’s Way jumped out to a 14-9 lead on the Cruisers. She would finish with eight rebounds.

Quinn had 22 points and 13 rebounds for the Knights (13-4), who advance to meet Montesano in the district semifinals on Tuesday.
