Knight has a musical catalog that spans 35 albums and multiple genres. She was lead vocalist in the legendary soul group Gladys Knight & The Pips. The Pips scored multiple Top 10 gold-certified singles such as “I Heard it Through the Grapevine” and “Midnight Train to Georgia.”
In 1996, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inducted Gladys Knight & The Pips. In 1997, the Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame presented the group the Lifetime Achievement Award.
