A man found dead Jan. 6, lying in a ditch full of water in Battle Ground, was identified Monday as 68-year-old Dennis E. McEachern.
The Battle Ground man’s cause and manner of death are pending, according to the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Battle Ground police and Clark County Fire District 3 responded at 7:54 a.m. to Southeast Grace Avenue near Third Street, where someone reported a person in the ditch.
Paramedics declared McEachern dead, according to the Battle Ground Police Department.
Police and the medical examiner’s office are investigating.
