Letter: Haven for white nationalism?

It just seems to me that this area of our county is a version of the American Redoubt. I find it interesting that north county is controlled by Republicans and also a haven for “white nationalism.” It’s as if those folks are attempting to create another county that will only allow Christian right people with their ultra-conservative views to live there. Am I wrong?
