Letter: Support Ridgefield school bond

Vote “yes” on the Ridgefield school bond. You may not agree with the way that the state funds schools, but that doesn’t change the fact that Ridgefield needs more schools.

My youngest started as a kindergartner and will be graduating a Spudder next year. I’ve seen the increased enrollments and increased educational opportunities that never would have been possible when the district was smaller. These opportunities have created schools that are an asset to our community. Don’t punish the students because you do not like the funding structure. Don’t turn a community asset into a liability. Vote “yes” for schools!
