Letter: Crack down on parking scofflaws

Is it just me or am I missing something? While having a nice dinner at Mio Sushi on 134th, I saw four vehicles park in the handicap zone and use the Bank of America walk-up teller machine. Not one of them had a handicap placard or license plate. I believe the cost for parking in a handicap space in San Francisco is $880. If it’s the same dollar amount in the Vancouver urban area (where the teller machine is located) as San Francisco, then that would amount to over $3,500. Add that up over a month’s time and the city could pay for extra police officers, body cameras, just to name a few things.

So heads up Vancouver or Clark County law enforcement officers, here’s a good chance to do something right. Thanks.
