Please join me in voting yes for the Clark-Cowlitz Fire Rescue EMS levy. I moved to Ridgefield in 1987 and have seen a huge increase in the population of our fire district. I am coming from the perspective of being a firefighter for the city of Vancouver for 31 years as well as being a volunteer firefighter and fire commissioner for Clark-Cowlitz Fire Rescue for 12 years. During this time I have observed the degradation of our ambulance service, with current wait times for transport of up to one hour. It is imperative that we vote yes for the Clark-Cowlitz Fire Rescue EMS levy.
