Letter: Support Steinke for utilities

By
Published:

Don Steinke is a timely leader. His entire career was as a high school physics/science teacher and his passion is the reduction of greenhouse gases to secure our survival on this ever-warming planet. Don was instrumental in the passage of the Clean Energy Transformation Act (bans the sale of coal-based electricity by 2025) and the Clean Buildings Act (requires structures over 50,000 square feet to meet new energy efficient standards by 2026). His current focus is planning for electric vehicle infrastructure in Clark County. We need Don at Clark Public Utilities. Vote Steinke on Aug. 2.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
