A bountiful harvest

Battle Ground Harvest Days is a two-day festival hosted by the city of Battle Ground and the Battle Ground Festivals Association. It starts with a cruise-in at 6 p.m. Friday ($20 fee to participate) and continues Saturday with a pancake breakfast from 7-10 a.m. at Parkway and Main Street ($7 per person, $25 per family), a parade down Main Street at 10 a.m., an artisan vendor fair at Battle Ground High School, a beer garden and fireworks. The sweet buy and buy

Night Market Vancouver will host three Outdoor Summer Night Markets at Clark College, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way, from 4:30-9:30 p.m. Friday; Aug. 19; and Sept. 15. Browse the wares of 60 local artisans and vendors in the Red Parking Lot outside the O’Connell Sport Center. Shoppers will also enjoy live music with a DJ and dance lessons. Food and drink are available for purchase. The entry fee is $5. Ages 12 and under are free. Leashed pets are welcome. Buy tickets at vancouvervolcanoes.com/product/night-market-ticket/.

Flower power

Explore nine exceptional gardens during the Clark County Green Neighbors Natural Garden Tour, back this year with in-person visits to local gardens. This free, self-guided tour will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. All the gardens on the tour are examples of natural gardening techniques and no synthetic chemicals have been used to achieve lush results. No registration is necessary. Root for the Raptors

Attend a Tailgate Night in Ridgefield at 4 p.m. Saturday to support the Ridgefield Raptors baseball team. Enjoy dinner, drinks or take-out in downtown Ridgefield, then ride a free shuttle to the ballpark at Ridgefield Outdoor Recreation Complex. Shuttles will collect passengers at the Port of Ridgefield office, 111 W. Division St., and at Simons Street and Third Avenue. Shuttles will return fans to downtown Ridgefield after the game. The next Tailgate Night is July 28. Learn more at ridgefieldraptors.com.

To market, to market

Stroll through the Battle Ground Old Town Farmers Market from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday in July, August and September, hosted by Battle Ground Healing Arts and Apothecary, 408 E. Main St. The market features fresh produce and artisan vendors. Enjoy drop-in yoga in the garden with Liz Suchinda for a $10 fee and wellness classes from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. New vendors are welcome.
