Raptors can't hold five-run lead in the eighth

Aaron Parker hit a walkoff home run with two outs in the 10th inning to cap a big comeback for Cowlitz on Sunday in Longview. Ridgefield led 9-4 before the Black Bears scored five runs in the bottom of the eighth. The Raptors concluded a six-game road trip 2-4.

KEY MOMENTS: Ben Ziegler started Cowlitz’s eighth-inning rally with a two-run double with nobody out. … Safea Mauai’s two-run double highlighted a three-run fourth inning that saw Ridgefield take a 7-3 lead.

KEY PLAYERS: Doyle Kane went 4 for 4, including a two-run single that put Ridgefield ahead 4-0 in the second inning. … Batting in the cleanup spot, Alex Sepulveda went 3 for 3 with two RBI for the Raptors. … Ridgefield reliever Jacob Kokeny allowed just one with and one run over 4.1 innings.
