Letter: Trump is con man, traitor

“I really didn’t say everything I said”: Yogi Berra.

I read, with no small degree of amusement, Tom Nelson’s defense of Donald Trump (“Whoppers are told about Trump,” Our Readers’ Views, July 13). Apparently, he believes that any reporting of the former (and let’s underline former) president’s words or actions involve a vast media conspiracy and are heavily edited to make him look bad. This unfounded charge, is, in itself, half-vast.

This is delusional thinking at its very finest. Donald Trump said the things he said, did the things he did and will go down in history as a con man and a traitor.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
