Letter: Disgrace gone, not forgotten

It seems the Proud Boys have retreated from the local scene, especially since Donald Trump is no longer president. I believe Mr. Trump used this group to increase the level of turmoil and destruction in Portland. His “Law and Order” agenda was supported by this. Since a number of these folks are preoccupied with their involvement in the Jan. 6 insurrection, they have retreated as a group in the Portland area. Again, Trump used these people to further his cause. A disgrace for a president. Gone but not forgotten.
