PASCO — A crashed lawn care truck tied up westbound traffic on Interstate 182 on Tuesday morning.

The truck flipped east of the Road 100 exit on the Interstate about 10:15 a.m.. Initial callers reported someone was pinned under the wreckage.

But the person was able to escape and was standing near the truck when emergency crews arrived.

Washington State Patrol Trooper Chris Thorson said on Twitter that at least one person was hurt.

There were reports that the crashed led to gallons of herbicide spilling onto the ground.

Two lanes were closed while police investigated, and traffic in the westbound lanes was backed up for miles.
