CASCADE SOUTH EAST — The all-volunteer members of Assistance League Southwest Washington have been busy this spring. The league’s annual Tulip Sales Benefit was the week before Easter. Then on April 30, the league presented its first in-person Tea Party Benefit since the Spring of 2019. Attendance of 85 supporters enjoyed a lovely and delicious tea catered by a tea professional, a planting demonstration by a master gardener, door prizes, raffles and more. It was held at the Church of the Good Shepherd on Southeast Ellsworth Road.

All proceeds will support the organization’s philanthropic programs that benefit children and families in the community: Operation School Bell, JUST Because, Assault Survivor Kits, Children’s Opportunities & Potential, and Share A Bear.
