Letter: Where do homeless come from?

I read with interest the details of the recent homeless count by the Council for the Homeless, but I would suggest a couple more questions for the next survey:

1. How long have they lived in Clark County?

2. From where did they move?

I would like to know how “home grown” our homeless population is, or if it fueled by immigration from other states. Similar data is captured by the Department of Licensing when you get your Washington driver’s license for those who drive legally. I would like to see the data about our homeless as well.
