A rose is a rose

The Fort Vancouver Rose Society will host its annual auction with rose plants donated by society members at 7 tonight. It’s easy being green

Lucky leprechauns, family-friendly activities, prizes, after-hours shopping, kids’ crafts and green fashion are all part of the “Go Green” First Friday in downtown Camas from 5-8 p.m. Friday. Wear green clothes, and find leprechauns and gold coins to win prizes. Enjoy art shows, pop-up shops and live music. Enjoy drink specials at the new Camas Brewing Company, 339 N.E. Cedar St. For details, visit downtowncamas.com or call 360-216-7378.

Feeling crabby

Northwood Public House, 1401 S.E. Rasmussen Blvd. in Battle Ground Village, will celebrate its eighth anniversary with a crab feast and live music from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday. Live Dungeness crab will be brought in directly from the coast and cooked fresh throughout the day. Prices range from $28 to $38. Live music starts at 1:30 p.m. For more information, visit www.northwoodpublichouse.com or call 360-723-0937.

Jazz hands

The Clark College Jazz Band presents its winter concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Gaiser Student Center on Clark’s main campus, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver. Admission to the performance is free and the public is welcome. This is the band’s first concert in Gaiser Hall after a two-year hiatus.
