Magenta Theater in downtown Vancouver seeks a local artist to cover its door and entryway with a theater-themed mural. The deadline to apply is 11:59 p.m. April 29. The project’s budget is $1,200 for a mural of 8 feet by 20 feet. Artists should submit five photographs of previous work, especially murals. Attach a brief description of the proposed mural, including materials, along with a mock-up of the design. Several candidates will be selected to present their designs in person to the executive team in May. The winning candidate will be chosen by June 30. For more details, email david.roberts@magentatheater.com.
