Letter: Time to talk about gun control

How about now?

In October 2017, following the mass shooting in Las Vegas, I wrote to The Columbian lamenting the fact that too many people felt that it was “not the right time” to talk about gun control (“Time to care about fellow citizens,” Our Readers’ Views, Oct. 8, 2017). Four and a half years later, following numerous additional mass shootings — including the most recent school massacre in Uvalde, Texas — is it time yet?

If not now, when?
