Evergreen Public Schools to host webinar on suicide prevention

Evergreen Public Schools and the University of Washington School of Social Work are holding an informational suicide prevention training event from 6 to 7 p.m. Nov. 17 via Zoom.

The webinar, titled “Learn Saves Lives: Suicide Prevention Training,” will provide background on suicide as a public health issue, how people can better understand suicide warning signs among peers and steps to help steer those in need toward resources that can save lives.
