Charlton, King’s Way defense clobber Columbia 32-7

Ryan Charlton rushed 18 times for 175 yards and two touchdowns as King’s Way Christian picked up a 32-7 Trico League victory Friday over the Columbia Bruins at White Salmon.

Charlton scored on two 4-yard runs.

King’s Way quarterback Brayden Schiefer threw for 226 yards and a 17-yard touchdown to Aiden Sweeny.

The Knights’ defense held Columbia scoreless until a 79-yard pass play in the fourth quarter.

But the King’s Way defense also found the end zone with a pair of interception returns for TDs.

Will Bump returned a pick 38 yards for a score, and Matthew Belefski had a 76-yard interception return for a TD.
