Letter: Support Reynolds for sheriff

By Darrell Bredehoeft, Vancouver
Published: October 8, 2022, 6:00am

We can’t help being saddened when we see increasing lawlessness in our Clark County communities. Even if you, like me, have not yet become a victim, the news and neighborhood apps like Nextdoor make it clear that our neighbors and friends have.

But here’s the good news: we get to elect a new sheriff in a few weeks, new leadership to tackle this lawlessness head on. Unprecedented challenges require innovative solutions and Rey Reynolds is the candidate who will bring a fresh perspective and decisive leadership to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office. For community safety, for Rey Reynolds!

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
