Hazmat incident sends 3 Molecular Testing Labs workers to hospital

Three workers were transported to a hospital Saturday following a hazardous-materials incident at Molecular Testing Labs, 14401 S.E. First St., according to the Vancouver Fire Department.

After a chlorine gas spill at the company, bleach was used in an attempt to clean up the mess. The chemical reaction between the two led to off-gassing.
