Letter: Values skewed by local Republicans

I’m tiring of the Clark County GOP and Joe Kent’s rhetoric on restoring “American values.” The alignment of conservative Christians, white supremacists and conspiracy theorists seems to have spawned a new definition of values. How does adherence to beliefs in racial inequality and unbelievably absurd conspiracy theories, removing a woman’s right to choose, and insisting voting fraud took place in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary reflect a value system? Trump didn’t target this group for their intellectual prowess.

Joe Kent and those supporting him are the antithesis of what this city, county and country need.
