Letter: Reelect Kimsey as auditor

By Eric Bjorkman, Vancouver
Published: October 24, 2022, 6:00am

Greg Kimsey is running once more for Clark County’s auditor position, an office that he’s held since 1999. His record of running efficient and worry-free elections is impeccable. Yet his opponent in this race, Brett Simpson, has laid entirely baseless claims of election fraud. He asserts that Kimsey flipped votes for Donald Trump to go to Joe Biden instead. And Simpson knows this because of facts and evidence pointing to fraud? Of course not. There aren’t any. He’s simply chosen to run a smear campaign against a faithful servant to this county. Let’s send a resounding message to foolishness like this, and reelect Greg Kimsey.
