Educational Service District 112 is seeking applicants to fill the vacant District 1 board of directors position following the resignation of Richard Graham.

The position appointment expires in January 2024 and will require the successful applicant to run for reelection in 2023 in order to continue in the role. ESD 112 board members are unpaid volunteers who attend monthly meetings at the ESD headquarters in Vancouver.

To apply, candidates must be registered voters living within the boundaries of District 1, which encompasses the Green Mountain School District, the La Center School District, the Kalama School District, the Woodland School District, and portions of Battle Ground Public Schools and the Kelso School District.

Applicants may not be a board member or current employee of a public or private school district, educational service district or state board of education or in the Office of State Superintendent of Public Instruction.

Interested candidates may contact Sara Moore, executive assistant to the superintendent and board of directors, at 360-952-3318 or via email at sara.moore@esd112.org.
