I live in a house divided over politics. In the congressional race Joe Kent, Heidi St. John, Jaime Herrera Beutler, and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez all received votes from my house. We run the spectrum of political views here and we choose to respect each others’ views and just love the person.
The one race we all agree on is Rey Reynolds for sheriff. That’s because we have all met him and we have experienced firsthand his servant’s heart. We agree with his philosophy of “compassionate accountability.” For a justice system to work, criminals need to be held accountable but should also be treated with dignity.
