As the Heights District enters its next phase, the city of Vancouver’s project team is asking residents to provide their thoughts on its latest designs.

The public is encouraged to attend an open house from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 6 at McLoughlin Middle School, 5802 MacArthur Blvd., to learn about current project initiatives. Attendees can ask questions and provide feedback with city staff.

The Heights District development, approved by the Vancouver City Council in 2020, will be composed of housing units, retail spaces, parks and bike-friendly streets within 205 acres in central Vancouver. Existing properties in the area include Water Station 5, a fire station, Park Hill Cemetery, three public schools and residential areas.
