A 51-year-old Vancouver man was arrested on suspicion of vehicular assault after a Saturday afternoon crash near Proebstel. According to the Washington State Patrol, alcohol was a factor in the wreck, which sent four people to the hospital.

Darin K. Lint was booked into the Clark County Jail.

At about 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Lint was driving a 2004 Dodge Dakota west on state Highway 500 when the truck crossed the center line and crashed into an eastbound 2015 Toyota RAV4 driven by 69-year-old Pamela R. Devlin of Washougal, according to a state patrol bulletin. The impact knocked the Toyota into the westbound lane, causing it to smash head on into a 2016 Jeep Compass driven by 57-year-old Angel M. Kuehl.

Ambulances took Devlin, Kuehl, as well Jeep passengers 57-year-old Michael J. Kuehl of Vancouver and 31-year-old Andrea J. Rebsch of Vancouver to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. Lint was uninjured.

Rebsch’s friends have set up a GoFundMe account for her and her family.
