Hmmmm, in two different stories, we read how higher-income Oregonians are fleeing to Clark County, then another on how homelessness is up 30 percent.
My head says, “It is just correlation, Troy. Two data points that seem similar.” My heart says, “It is causation, Troy. Those fleeing Oregon are buying up houses left and right, displacing lower-income home renters.”
Then I see how my property has risen 271 percent in value over the last four years. I see more illegally Oregon plated cars than in the past. Causation or correlation? Makes you wonder.
