Letter: Do something about Nazi signs

By Bill Kelley, Yacolt
Published: April 30, 2023, 6:00am

Nazi signs on the side of a house in La Center (“Swastikas, Nazi flag on home upset neighbors in La Center,” The Columbian, April 19).

Where’s the ordinance against advertising signs? Height of signs ordinance? Five feet above grade? At least 150 feet from neighbor? Nuisance ordinance? Free speechers flopping around once again wringing their hands asking what can we do?

This nation is becoming an embarrassment. The one thing you cannot do is nothing.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
