The fair begins with a Parade of Tiny Gardens led by dancers from Northwest Classical Ballet. Live music on the Burris Stage starts at 11:30 a.m. with Aram Arslanian, Barrie Dempsey and The Carlin Band. Ridgefield Main Street will host a beer and wine garden. Wood-fired pizza is available from Bella Bee Pizza. The event also includes a family craft area and selfie stations. Get details at facebook.com/RidgefieldForestFair.

Down on the farm

Pomeroy Farm, 20902 N.E. Lucia Falls Road, Yacolt, will host this summer’s last Farm Days from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday featuring the farm’s historic grounds, farm animals, artisans and vendors. Kids can enjoy an I Spy activity, yard games and hands-on activities. On-site parking is free. Leashed service animals are welcome. Food will be available to buy. Some vendors may accept only cash (there’s no ATM on the grounds). Admission is free, but donations to the farm, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, are welcome.
