Visit Vancouver WA wants to bring dozens of sports events to city, boost tourism

Airstream Ventures, a sports tourism development firm, said Vancouver is its first partner in the West

Vancouver has a reputation for hosting large-scale sporting events, including the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics’ Cross Country Championships at Fort Vancouver and U.S. Rowing’s Junior and Master Northwest Championships at Vancouver Lake.

That sort of activity could be picking up soon.
