‘Climate Curious’ group to discuss climate work at Port of Camas-Washougal

Portland-based networking group Climate Curious is calling for sustainability savants, environmental entrepreneurs and anyone interested in learning about local climate efforts to join them for “Climate Curious Goes North.”

Officials will speak about climate initiatives ranging from community solar projects and climate action plans from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Aug. 17 at the Port of Camas-Washougal, 24 S. A. St., Washougal.

Speakers include: Mike Bomar, Port of Vancouver director of economic development; David Ripp, Port of Camas-Washougal chief executive officer; and Rebecca Small, city of Vancouver senior policy analyst. Attendees can participate in a Q&A and networking session following the presentations.
