Letter: Republicans don’t want to pay bills

At breakfast this morning, I told my wife that I had decided not to continue paying our house mortgage, as well as the utilities bill and the payments on our cars. First, I need some concessions from her. She asked me what I wanted and I told her I wasn’t yet completely sure.

I also said that we need to cut back on expenses like groceries for the kids and anything we’re required to pay for their schooling. It’s costing us a fortune! We can go without food in the cupboards and refrigerator. I’ll just eat at restaurants, so it won’t affect me.

She just sat and stared at me, then asked why I was acting like this.

I told her I just wanted to see what it felt like to be a Republican.
