Ridgefield School District recognizes February Employee and Students of the Month

RIDGEFIELD — On Feb. 14, Ridgefield School District officials recognized the February 2023 Employee and Students of the Month at the regular board meeting.

Ridgefield School District’s February Employee of the Month is Early Learning Center employee, Emi Werner. “Werner brings a unique flair to the Early Learning Center,” the district said in press release announcing the award. “Each day when she comes to work, she brings with her a smile that lights up the room and makes each student feel loved and special. Werner never misses a chance to encourage her students and brings out the very best in them. Werner is a valued co-worker at the Early Learning Center. She can always be counted on for spirit day participation and always brings so much happiness to the students and staff. The Early Learning Center and the Ridgefield School District are better because of her.”

Ridgefield School District’s February Students of the Month are as follows: Pre-K student at Early Learning Center, Felix Hagensen. Third grader at South Ridge Elementary School, Jaden Panis. First grader at Union Ridge Elementary School, Gwendolyn Bomar. Sixth grader at Sunset Ridge Intermediate School, Meghan Saha. Eighth grader at View Ridge Middle School, Josie Hicks. Senior at Wisdom Ridge Academy, Corbin Dugger. Senior at Ridgefield High School, Makayla Ferguson.
