WEST MINNEHAHA — Furry Friends adopted out 506 cats and kittens for 2022 — a record number for the shelter. Their 500th adoption was to Dr. Anna Reading from Horizon Veterinary Care, a new practice that just opened in east Vancouver at 1900 N.E. 162nd Ave. Suite D110, and her family.

Carlos the cat was dumped out in the country and brought to Furry Friends for help. After he was medically ready, he captured the hearts of the entire family. Furry Friends is excited to have the opportunity to work with Horizon Veterinary Care in addition to the shelter’s other very valuable vet care relationships.

Furry Friends is a nonprofit, no-kill organization that rescues and adopts out homeless, relinquished, and abused cats in Clark County. Furry Friends cares for the kitties for as long as it takes to find their forever home. They are a volunteer run organization.
