Letter: Support Vancouver schools levy

By Jennifer Rhoads, VANCOUVER
Published: January 22, 2023, 6:00am

Vote yes for Vancouver Public Schools on Feb. 14. I have been connected to Vancouver Public Schools for the past 48 years, first as a student, then as a parent of students and lastly as a volunteer. Over this time, Vancouver Public Schools has been an excellent steward of taxpayer dollars.

This renewal education and operations levy is not a new tax. It replaces expiring levies. Want to learn more? Visit vansd.org/levy for the facts. Let’s continue to support our public schools to build a community where all of us can thrive.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
