Prep basketball: Camas boys beat Skyview, now 4-0 in GSHL play

Theo McMillan scored 28 points as the Camas boys basketball team remained perfect in 4A Greater St. Helens League play with a 75-56 road win over Skyview on Tuesday.

McMillan made 14 2-point field goals to account for all his points. Konnor Limnell added 15 points, including four 3-pointers in the first half as Camas (15-4, 4-0) led 38-27 at the break.

Damaree Collins scored 18 points to lead Skyview (11-8, 0-4), which was held to 39% shooting from the field.

Girls basketball

UNION 69, BATTLE GROUND 23 — Brooklynn Haywood scored 17 points, Ava Smith added 16 points and the Titans cruised to a 4A GSHL road win.

Haywood and Smith each scored 14 points in the first half before sitting out most of the second half for Union (14-5, 2-2).

Yvette Rosales scored eight points to lead Battle Ground (1-16, 0-4).

MARK MORRIS 76, HOCKINSON 22 — Isabella Merzoian scored 15 points, all coming on 3-pointers, as the Monarchs cruised to a 2A GSHL home win.

Natalie Mejia added 14 points for Mark Morris (13-6, 11-3), which kept pace with Woodland in a tie for second place.

Allie Seekins scored 10 points to lead Hockinson (1-16, 1-12).

WOODLAND 53, R.A. LONG 29 — Riley Standing scored 13 points as the Beavers earned a 2A GSHL win at home.

Addi Stading and Ella Lindsay each scored nine points for Woodland (14-5, 11-3). The Beavers are tied with Mark Morris for second place with two league games remaining.

Grace House scored nine points to go with five rebounds and five steals to lead R.A. Long (1-14, 1-13).
