Farm to Heart: CSA offers free fresh food for families in Clark County

Community-supported agriculture program offers produce in weekly boxes

On a recent Wednesday afternoon, 30 families visited Fruit Valley Elementary to pick up free fruit, vegetables, eggs and meat provided by 19 farms through a weekly program called Farm to Heart.

Boxes filled with cilantro, lettuce, scallions and beets filled several long tables. Children grabbed rainbow chard, radishes and garlic scapes.
