A motorcyclist was taken to a Portland hospital with serious injuries after crashing into a SUV Saturday night north of Felida.

Clark County sheriff’s deputies responded at 9:11 p.m. to reports of a crash on Northwest Seward Road near the intersection with 151st Street.

First responders arrived to find an injured motorcyclist and the driver of an SUV at the scene. Deputies learned the motorcyclist was inexperienced and crossed the center line before crashing into the oncoming SUV, according to a sheriff’s office news release.

The motorcyclist was taken to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, the news release states.
