Clark County COVID-19 activity rate up, hospitalizations flat

No new deaths reported in latest data from Clark County Public Health

Clark County’s COVID-19 case rate rose and hospitalization rate held steady in the latest data from Clark County Public Health. No new deaths were reported.

Public Health reported 61 new cases this week, for a total of 114,266 to date and a seven-day rate of 14 per 100,000, up from 13.8 last week. With no new deaths, the total deaths from COVID-19 remained at 1,056.

New hospitalizations held steady, with a seven-day rate of 1.8 per 100,000, according to Public Health data, which reported nine people, or 2.1 percent of hospital beds, were occupied by people with COVID-19.

No ICU beds were occupied by people with COVID-19. As of this week, people suspected of having COVID-19 are no longer being counted in official data.
