Impact Camas-Washougal will host its ninth annual summer food drive starting at noon Sunday at Parker’s Landing Park at the Port of Camas-Washougal.

Attendees will be packing boxes of pre-selected and purchased food, along with local grocery gift cards, for school families in need to help kick off their summer.

Full event tasks include: packing boxes of pre-selected and purchased food along with local grocery gift cards, collecting donated canned protein food items (peanut butter, chili, tuna, etc.) to help stock the local Treasure House food pantry, followed by a free community barbecue and live music by Camas-Washougal Orchestra.

Those who cannot attend but still wish to participate can donate via the event’s Go Fund Me campaign or by sending checks made out to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 716 Washougal River Road, Washougal, WA 98671.
