RIDGEFIELD — The Ridgefield Lions Club recently awarded a club-record $27,000 in scholarships to area students.
Each year, the Ridgefield Lions provide scholarships to support post-secondary educational goals to students from the community who have graduated from Ridgefield High School, or other high schools as long as the student/parents live within the Ridgefield School District.
Scholarships are awarded to students based on the Lions’ motto, “We Serve,” along with demonstrated standards of scholarship, citizenship and community service.
