New Clark County charter school to host information events

Rooted School Vancouver, Clark County’s first charter school, has opened enrollment for ninth-graders ahead of its inaugural 2023-2024 school year. The school, which is free, nonsectarian and focuses on project-based learning, will support 35 students next year and is hosting a series of events this summer to introduce the school to the community.

The events are as follows:

  • July 1 — Informational booth from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Vancouver Farmers Market, Eighth and Esther streets, Vancouver.
  • July 8 — Informational booth at Vancouver USA Pride.
  • July 13 — Info and Enrollment Night at 7 p.m. at Rooted School, 10401 N.E. Fourth Plain Blvd., Vancouver.
  • July 27 — Info and Enrollment Night at 7 p.m. at Rooted School, 10401 N.E. Fourth Plain Blvd., Vancouver.
  • Aug. 3 — Grand opening at 10 a.m. at Rooted School, 10401 N.E. Fourth Plain Blvd., Vancouver.
