Battle Ground Public Schools issued a reminder Thursday that all fireworks are banned on school property this summer, including fields and parking lots.

“The discharge or use of fireworks is not allowed on any district property,” the district said. “Battle Ground Public Schools appreciates the community’s help in keeping schools safe and clean.”

While fireworks remain banned in Vancouver city limits, the use of fireworks in designated areas will be permitted at certain times on July 4.
